TV Series News – Hey, Marvel, Jason Momoa ‘Would Love’ To Play Wolverine

TV Series News
Hey, Marvel, I’m not telling you how to run your business. You’ve obviously done a very good job of that for many years, but as a superfan who gets unreasonably excited about dumb fantasy castings, I feel like this needs an article. Jason Momoa was at Celebrity Fan Fest in San Antonio. He was asked which MCU character he’d most like to play, and he picked Wolverine. Here’s his answer… Now, there’s nothing legally in most people’s contracts that prevent them from playing two different superheroes for two different companies at the same time. So, I appreciate the excitement you can hear from fans in this clip shot by Jeremiah Marshall from KRIS. In practicality, though, it doesn’t happen very often. Recently, Zachary Levi went from a bit player in the Thor universe for Marvel to the lead

TV Series News – Justice League’s Ray Fisher Would ‘Absolutely’ Release The Snyder Cut

TV Series News
At this point, Justice League hit theaters more than year and a half ago. However, in that time, the clamoring from the fanbase regarding a Zack Snyder cut or #Snydercut of the film has not died down in the least. (Zack Snyder constantly sharing backstory stuff likely has not helped matters.) Which means the cast is still getting asked about their feelings regarding a lengthier Snyder cut of the DC and Warner Bros. film. This weekend while Justice League actor Ray Fisher was appearing at Celebrity Fan Fest in San Antonio, Texas, the actor reportedly mentioned he’d love to see the Snyder cut of Justice League. Unfortunately, he’s not the person with the keys to the kingdom, however, so he noted he’d like the Snyder cut with a caveat, saying, “If I had the power, absolutely.” Later, Ray

TV Series News – Zachary Levi Reveals When Shazam! 2 Plans To Start Filming

TV Series News
Zachary Levi is living his best life right now. Shazam! wasn't an Aquaman-sized hit for DC, but it was very warmly received by just about everyone, and put the Chuck star on the map as the next beloved superhero. Levi is hosting the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards Monday night, and while talking up that event, he dropped some teases on Shazam! 2. According to Zachary Levi, writing the Shazam! sequel has already started and he expects the team to start filming in either late spring or early summer 2020. So this time next year, Levi expects to be back in that expensive costume alongside his co-stars. That's the scoop from Zachary Levi to the AP. We already knew Shazam! 2 was thinking of moving forward quickly, in part because there are young actors in the main cast, and kids tend to grow ...

TV Series News – Jeremy Renner’s Moving Take On Hawkeye Will Make Your Father’s Day

TV Series News
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there, in every form (pet parents, you count too). All good fathers are superheroes to their families, and being a good father should be a priority over being a powerful superhero. That certainly sounds like the case for Jeremy Renner. Jeremy Renner's Marvel hero Hawkeye has been the butt of some jokes over the years, and the actor even sang about being "super too" on The Tonight Show. Hawkeye was absent in Avengers: Infinity War, but had a big return in Avengers: Endgame. He got to launch the hugely popular movie with a heartbreaking scene that still makes one of the directors tear up. It's Clint Barton with his family, right before they are victims of The Decimation. That obviously devastated the sole survivor, Clint, who took on the role of ang...

TV Series News – Netflix’s Most-Watched Series Right Now May Surprise You (It’s Not Lucifer Or Black Mirror)

TV Series News
Netflix has revealed its most-watched series for late Spring 2019. The streamer rarely makes the move of sharing its viewership info with fans. Well, it is making an exception to share what has been most popular this month. The most-watched show since May 31 has not been the popular Netflix-saved series Lucifer. It arrived early last month on May 8. Nor is it the divisively received, but always viral, fifth season of Black Mirror. It premiered on the streamer on June 5. It's not even the addictive Dead to Me, which premiered May 3 and just got renewed for Season 2. Find out what it is via the Netflix tweet below: Netflix reports that its original miniseries When They See Us has been its most-watched series. When They See Us premiered on the streamer at the very end of last month -- May...

TV Series News – Surprise? The New Shaft Is Getting Very High Scores From Fans

TV Series News
After almost 20 years away from the big screen, Shaft is back -- and this time there are three generations who can answer this call. While the new movie starring Richard Roundtree, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jessie T. Usher did not impress critics, there’s a very different tune being sung by audiences, who are strutting out of the theater in smiles. After almost 80 reviews were filed on Rotten Tomatoes, Shaft was given a disappointing score of 35%. However, the Audience Score is at 93%, and polled moviegoers gave the 2019 Shaft an A rating on CinemaScore. Perhaps critics were too hard on how much fun the flick is? Sometimes the consensus between reviews and fans just don’t agree with each other and Shaft seems to be another one of those cases. The fourth Shaft movie has the worst Tomatomet

Some of the cast members will officially be revealed this Monday, June 17 on Good Morning America. If you know Bachelor in Paradise, you know every season starts with a few cast members in Mexico -- a mix of men and women from past seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette. More Paradise residents are added each episode. So they can't reveal everyone now. However, filming has already started, and spoiler guru Reality Steve gave fans a head start. He not only provided names of rumored cast members, he revealed that Bachelor in Paradise Season 6 was already a big time "shit show." He added one guy -- ...

TV Series News – Keanu Reeves Reacts To 2019’s Obsession With Keanu Reeves

TV Series News
The Keanussance is here and what a time it is to be alive! How crazy is this: Keanu Reeves has left his mark on just about every corner of entertainment in a matter of a month. Between the continued success of the John Wick franchise, his scene-stealing cameo in Ali Wong’s Netflix rom-com, joining the Pixar family, and being the highlight of this year’s E3, the actor has reestablished himself as an icon. And of course to top it all off, Keanu Reeves recently shared a sweet and humble response to his success with these words during the Toy Story 4 premiere in Hollywood: Could we love him anymore? The 54-year-old actor previously famous for his ‘90s roles in The Matrix, Point Break, and Speed has managed to rise up in the ranks once again, with even more prominence than before. John Wic

TV Series News – Dark Phoenix Had The Biggest Second Week Drop Of Any Superhero Movie

TV Series News
Dark Phoenix just had the lowest second week drop of any superhero movie. It earned $14 million on its opening day last Friday, and $2.348 million on its second Friday. That's a drop of 83.2%, relieving DC's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and its 81% drop for the title. (Finally, some good news for BvS!) As Forbes noted, Dark Phoenix's 83.2% drop from Friday-to-Friday was just shy of the 84% drop for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II in its second Friday. Of course, one major difference there is fans had already rushed to see the final Harry Potter movie, giving it an opening weekend of $169 million in July 2011. Dark Phoenix only had an opening weekend of $33 million. On the list of other big movies (as opposed to indies), High School Musical 3 had a 90% drop on its sec...

TV Series News – Watch Jon Snow Apologize For Game Of Thrones Season 8 In Hilarious (Fake) Video

TV Series News
Game of Thrones fans who want an apology for the criticized final season got it via a fake video. In it, Jon Snow’s speech mourning the dead that fell during the Battle of Winterfell has been altered. Instead of giving a rousing dialogue regarding those who perished, “Jon Snow” apologizes for Season 8. Watch it below: If you are wondering how on earth it looks and sounds so real, it is the result of lots of work. The video is a “deepfake” created by Chris Ume, who reportedly spent weeks making it, per HuffPost. If you noticed the voice in the video sounds different from Game of Thrones actor Kit Harington’s, there is a good reason. Chris Ume got a voice actor to record the lines. In the video posted by Eating Things with Famous People, “Jon Snow” apologizes for many of the things that
