Yes, an Arrow vet — who was also in one episode of MacGyver, several episodes of Galavant, and a ton of badass action movies — is coming to NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11 on CBS. And, true to form, Vinnie Jones has already told one of NCIS: LA‘s main stars to “fuck off.”
British former footballer Vinnie Jones is known from films like Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; Snatch; and X-Men: The Last Stand, but he also played Danny “Brick” Brickwell across nine episodes of The CW’s Arrow from 2015 to 2018.
Now Vinnie Jones is one of the many guest actors joining NCIS: Los Angeles Season 11, which is now fiming for its September 29 premiere on CBS.
Daniela Ruah (Kensi Blye) just showed off an Instagram post with two of the 2019-2020 season’s new guest stars, Steve Valentine and Vinnie Jones. The first photo with Valentine is innocent enough, but slide over to her video with Jones to hear him reply “Fuck off” to her “Hey Vinnie” shout-out. She obviously wasn’t offended, as you can hear from her delighted cackle:
Classic Vinnie Jones. Not everyone can make a stone-faced “Fuck off” charming, but he pulled it off. No idea yet what he’ll be doing on NCIS: Los Angeles but the new season has been filming for over a month now, so I’m guessing they’re beyond the JAG reunion premiere.
As for Steve Valentine, he’s known to fans of Crossing Jordan, I’m in the Band, and Nikki, but he’s had single episode guest-starring roles on many shows — including NCIS as Miles Wolf back in the 2012 episode “Recovery.”
It looks like Steve Valentine’s script for NCIS: Los Angeles was VERY well read:
And it looks like he gets to work with Kensi and Deeks, since here he is again with Daniela Ruah and also Eric Christian Olsen.
It all starts with the continued JAG reunion, which may or may not give Harm and Mac the happy ending fans have been waiting for. The fun begins when NCIS: LA premieres Sunday, September 29 on CBS. Keep up with everything coming to screens this fall with our handy 2019-2020 TV premiere guide.
